Troubleshooting

FOR WINDOWS COMPUTER:

Note: Setting the time and date stamp on your device is easy. The time and date will be revised for video and photo in next recording. To change the time and date you must create a TIME.txt.

    1. Plug in the USB Cord to the Go Vision Glasses and to the computer
    2. Left click Start
    3. Left click My Computer or Computer
    4. The glasses will be recognize as Removable Disk Drive

(If it does not automatically pop up – Try to plug out and plug in the USB cable from the computer and on the Go Vision glasses and make sure the USB drive is properly inserted into the USB slot)

  • Double left click on Removable Disk Drive and it will bring up the DCIM folder but do not open it
  • Anywhere on the screen, right click and left click on New and a box will appear and left click on Text Document
  • You should now have the DCIM folder and New Text Document folder and rename the folder TIME
  • Double left click on the TIME document and it should open up a
  • Type in the current year.month.day space once hour:minute:seconds

 

For example: 2015.01.15 12:10:15

  • The time is set in military time
  • Go to File and Save

 

FOR MAC:

The following are the steps on how to set the time and date for the Go Vision

  1. Download the attached file Text Document to your computer and save it
  2. Plug in your Go Vision glasses to your computer using the USB Cable
  3. Drag and drop the Text Document file on the Untitled folder or Macintosh HD. You should now have the DCIM folder and Text Document
  4. Click on the Text Document to open it
  5. Edit the time and date following the same format written on the Text Document. [year.month.date(space)hour:minute:second]
    For example: 2015.01.15 12:10:15
  6. The time is set in military time
  7. Go to File and Save

FOR WINDOWS COMPUTER:

  1. Go to “My Pictures”
  2. Right click anywhere on the screen and left click New and a box will appear choose Folder
  3. A folder will appear named “New Folder”
  4. Rename it “Go Vision Files”

HOW TO UPLOAD PICTURES AND VIDEOS

  1. Plug in the USB Cord to the Go Vision Glasses and to the computer
  2. Left click on the start button
  3. Left click on “Computer”
  4. Double left click on Removable Disk Drive
  5. It brings up your DCIM Folder
  6. Double left click on the DCIM Folder
  7. Right click on the photo or video you want to move, left click Copy
  8. Go to the Go Vision Folder that you created
  9. Right click anywhere on the screen, left click Paste
  10. Right Click on the Photo or Video file that has just been copied, a box will appear, left click on Rename and hit backspace and type in any name you want
    Example: July2015
  11. Then click anywhere on the screen to save
  12. And do the same steps on other Pictures and Videos you want to move

How to Format for Windows OS

Note: After formatting, any file that’s on the SD card will be deleted

  1. Plug in the USB Cord to the Go Vision Glasses and to the computer
  2. Left click Start
  3. Left click My Computer or Computer
  4. The glasses will be recognized as Removable Disk Drive
    1. Make sure your cursor is over the drive that holds the Go Vision Glasses (ex: Removable Drive E: or may appear as F:)
    2. Right-click on the Removable Disk Drive
    3. Go to Format and left click on it
    4. A box will appear asking to format
    5. (Left click) Choose Quick format
    6. A box will appear asking to delete the info
    7. Left click continue

How to Format For Windows 10

  1. Plug in the USB Cord to the Go Vision Glasses and to the computer
  2. At the bottom of your main screen, double left click on File Explorer (it look likes a folder icon)
  3. On File Explorer, at the left pane of your window, click THIS PC or Computer and under on Devices and Drives, look for Removable Disk Drive (It will usually appear as Removable Disk E:, F).
  4. The glasses will be recognized as Removable Disk Drive
    1. Make sure your cursor is over the drive that holds the Go Vision Glasses (ex: Removable Drive E: or may appear as F:)
    2. Right-click on the Removable Disk Drive
    3. Go to Format and left click on it
    4. A box will appear asking to format
    5. (Left click) Choose Quick format
    6. A box will appear asking to delete the info
    7. Left click continue

How to Format for MAC

  1. Plug in the USB Cord to the Go Vision Glasses and to the computer
  2. Open the Applications Folder
  3. Select Utilities
  4. Click on Disk Utilities
  5. Click on the Untitled Folder or Macintosh HD on the left pane of Disk Utilities
  6. At the middle of the window, Select Erase
  7. On Format Dropdown Menu, select MS DOS FAT.
  8. Then click Erase.

A. If the glasses are plug into the computer or to a wall ( when it is charging) and the light indicator is off, please try to wiggle the cable and make sure it is inserted all the way into the computer or a wall outlet. B. When the glasses are turned on, is the red light indicator turn on and then it shuts off after few seconds? If Yes, probably the memory of the glasses is already full and you have to delete or format the memory of the glasses.

Note: Please make sure before you format the memory of your glasses, transfer first all your files from the glasses to your computer.
